When do I take my supplements? Can I take them while fasting?

Although you should be getting the majority of your vitamins/minerals from your healthy diet, sometimes we just need that additional boost to help keep us healthy, especially if we are lacking in one or two areas. That's where supplements come into play but oftentimes we are asked when is the ideal time to take them. Below, you will find our recommendations as the timing will vary, depending on how they are absorbed and the ideal time to take them.

Once again, you can find our entire all natural supplement collection here. As far as whether you can take them fasting, the safe answer is no. Technically, some have calories and any calories can break the fast (although there are some studies that show trace amounts are OK, but it depends on the person's metabolic processes...so it's hard to know for sure). Additionally, some require fat to be absorbed so if you are fasting, and not getting any fat, they won't be absorbed anyway! Your best bet is to take them with your last meal if you are worried about missing them on a fast day and can take them again after you break the fast (with the exception of BurnRX as it does contain caffeine).
