Are your Fit Father Supplements safe if I'm taking blood pressure or cholesterol medications?
Question:
" Hey FFP Team, I am very interested in trying your supplements. I am taking blood pressure and cholesterol lowering medications. Are these supplements safe for me?"

Answer:
If you're taking medication for lowering blood pressure, then the following FFP supplements are very safe:
- SuperFuel is safe and beneficial. The protein, vitamins, minerals, and probiotics will help improve overall health.
- Test Booster RX is safe and beneficial. The magnesium and Ashwagandha (KSM-66) will naturally reduce stress and improve your overall health.
If you're taking medication for lowering blood pressure, then the following FFP supplements may have some interactions and should be run by your doctor before taking:
- Burn RX also has some natural stimulants (caffeine and green tea extract) all which may increase heart rate and blood pressure. This increase shouldn't be any more than a normal cup of coffee, but it is worth noting. Important note: if the blood pressure medication you're taking is a Beta-Blocker (common names are metoprolol, atenolol, propanolol), then Burn RX should absolutely be run by your doctor.
If you're taking medication for lowering cholesterol (but not blood pressure), then the following FFP supplements are very safe:
- SuperFuel is safe and beneficial. The protein, vitamins, minerals, and probiotics will help improve overall health.
- Test Booster RX is safe and beneficial. The magnesium and Ashwagandha (KSM-66) will naturally reduce stress and improve overall health. See the note below about the timing of Magnesium and Statin medications.
- Burn RX contains Green Tea extract, which can help lower cholesterol levels and is recommended and research-backed for guys trying to lower cholesterol levels, but Green Tea can decrease the absorption of some statin drugs and can potentially increase statin's side effects (Simvastatin in particular). For this reason, we suggest taking Burn RX AWAY/SEPARATE from Statin medications.
If you're taking medication for lowering cholesterol (but not blood pressure), then the following FFP supplements may have some interactions and should be run by your doctor:
If you're taking medication for thinning your blood (prescription blood thinners), then please note the following important message:
Natural supplements that improve heart health, reduce inflammation, and lower cholesterol often also work as natural blood thinners! ** This is a very important point.**
If you're taking medication prescription blood thinners, the following FFP supplements are still very safe:
- SuperFuel Protein
All the other FFP supplements should be run by your doctor as they may increase your risk of bleeding.
I know this may seem like a lot of information.
