[FF30X FAQ] Do you include a meal-by-meal grocery shopping list in the program?

We often get asked by guys for an item-by-item shopping list for the Fit Father Meal Plan that includes ALL the grocery items you'd need to buy for ALL the recipes in the meal plan.

We intentionally do NOT include an item-by-item shopping list for a few key reasons.

Reason #1: We don't presuppose that you're following every single recipe "to the T" each week.

One of the overarching themes of the Fit Father Meal Plan is that we want you to use the recipes we've provided you with as guides to find your own rhythm so you're not dependent on an "eat this meal today/eat that meal tomorrow" style plan.

Those types of strict, meal-by-meal approaches will not help you build the flexible, sustainable habits for long-term success.

What will happen if you travel? What will happen if you're at dinner? What will happen if you have a business lunch?

Reason #2: We want you to understand the fundamental principles behind how to structure properly portioned meals so that you will be successful long-term.

Please know: we DO HIGHLY SUGGEST you follow our recipes - especially our breakfast shake and lunch recipes. You can even follow our dinner recipes "to the letter" as well. They are fantastic.

That being said, the best way to shop is to do the following:

  • 1) Get the breakfast shake ingredients (listed in detail inside the meal plan).
  • 2) Pick your standard lunch - be that an Ezekiel Sandwich or otherwise - and buy those basic ingredients in bulk.
  • 3) Buy your Go-To Proteins, Carbs, & Fats in bulk - (whichever foods you prefer) that you'll use for dinner.
  • 4) Pick 1-4 Dinner Recipes to try any given week and buy those ingredients specifically.
I hope this helps!
